LoRa® technology is a combination of a radio modulation scheme and network access protocol that was created to transmit small packets of data over very long distances. This technology extends the reach of the Internet of Things (IoT) by combining long-range wireless connectivity with low power. This series will describe the general characteristics and capabilities of the LoRa radio and the supporting LoRaWAN® network protocol. You will learn the fundamental concepts that will help you work efficiently with any LoRaWAN framework to quickly prototype your own end device.
