Examples of touch sensors available in Altium Designer Altium Designer^® is one of the most powerful and popular PCB design tools available and the tool of choice for Microchip engineers and Design Partners designing touch sensor PCBs. The new Microchip Touch Sensor Integrated Library for Altium Designer^® covers 21 different types of capacitive touch sensor design patterns, which include buttons, sliders, wheels, and 2D surfaces. The library is available to install in the form of a plugin through the Altium Designer^® tool.
