How to Create a Lump Sensor

Overview

This section provides a step-by-step guide for generating a lump sensor using Touch Configurator in MPLAB® Code Configurator (MCC).

Procedure

Open Touch Configurator

Select MCC and open Touch Configurator in the Resource Management (MCC) tab.

Create Buttons, Slider, and Wheel

Add the required number of buttons, sliders, and wheels.

Create Lump Button

Press the Control key and click the sensors (buttons, sliders, and wheels) to be configured as a lump sensor. (A lump can also be created by mouse movement.) Now, click Create Lump Sensor.

Note: Multiple lump sensors can be created.

Visualize Lump Sensor

The hexagon graphic represents lump sensors. The lumped individual sensors will be displayed in yellow when the mouse cursor is placed over the lump sensor.

Generate Lump Sensor Code

Click Generate in the MCC (Resource Management) tab.
