Last modified by Microchip on 2023/11/09 08:59
Curiosity Board Connections
Attach the PAC1934 Click board™. The PAC1934 IC has specialized hardware to make meter measurements and accept commands from the MCU.
Attach the OLED W Click board to display meter measurements.
Connect the USB Micro-B cable from the PIC24FJ256GA7 Curiosity Board to the computer. MPLAB® X IDE will use this connection to program and debug the MCU.
Connect the USB Mini-B cable from the MCP2221A Breakout Module to the computer to display measurements to Tera Term.
Attach the jumper wire from UART TX (RB7 - Pin 6 of J5) to the MCP2221A Breakout Module to display measurements to Tera Term.
PAC1934 Click board Connections
Connect the 5 V power supply to the PAC1934 Click board as shown to replicate a meter voltage. Keep the power source off for now.
Attach four 150 Ω resistors from the PAC1934 Click board to ground as shown to replicate a meter load.
