Data Channels

The data channel is a central concept that enables flexible assignment, configuration, and processing of analog inputs. It allows each input to be managed independently, optimizing system performance and meeting diverse application needs.

  • Each Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) module has its own group of data channels.
    • ADC1 through ADC4 each provide eight data channels.
    • ADC5 provides 16 data channels.
  • A data channel is a dedicated path for a single analog input signal.
  • Each data channel has its own registers and can be individually configured.
  • Data channels in each ADC are processed based on their natural priority.
