Introduction to QTouch® Configurator Project Creation
This page provides information on the steps involved in creating and debugging a QTouch® Configurator project.
Steps
Configure QTouch Project Using the QTouch Configurator
The QTouch Configurator provides the option to generate a QTouch project for custom user boards, as well as to download a QTouch project for standard evaluation boards.
Configure the Clock
After configuring QTouch parameters using the QTouch Configurator, the next step is to configure the clock.
Import Project
Download the configured QTouch project package and import the project to Microchip Studio (formerly Atmel Studio) or IAR Embedded Workbench.
Project Settings & Build
You may need to configure a few parameters in the IDE in order to make the project work. These steps are also covered in the above link.
Connect to Data Visualizer
Once the project is built and programmed into the target, you can view the QTouch debug data using the Data Visualizer tool.
Connect to 2D Touch Surface Utility
Once the 2D Touch Surface and Gesture project is built and programmed into the target, you can view the debug data using the 2D Touch Surface Utility tool.
