How to Enable Driven Shield

Note: Driven Shield is applicable only for self capacitance sensors. 

Procedure

For hardware Driven Shield:

Include the required self-capacitance sensors.

In the Configure tab, enable Enable Dedicated Shield Pin and select the corresponding pin from the Select Driven Shield Pin drop-down.

For Driven Shield Plus:

Include the required self-capacitance sensors.

In the Configure tab, enable Enable Driven Shield Plus.

For timers-based Driven Shield:

Include the required self-capacitance sensors.

In the Configure tab, enable Enable Dedicated Shield Pin and select the corresponding timer and pin from the Select Dedicated Timer and Select Timer Pin drop-downs. Then click Apply and select Yes.

For Driven Shield Plus:

Include the required self-capacitance sensors.

In the configure tab, enable Enable Driven Shield Plus and select the required timer for each pin from the drop-downs. Then click Apply.
