Datasheet Board Identification and Specification

Note: This datasheet applies to the entire PIC32CM Lx microcontroller family. To identify the specific microcontroller, refer to the user guide for the MCU name, such as PIC32CM5164LS00048. Access the corresponding datasheet and navigate to the "Ordering Information" section to locate device specifications for all microcontrollers within the family.

Within the "Ordering Information" section, review the product family information, family variants, key feature sets, available packages, temperature ranges and pin counts. The chart provided in the "Ordering Information" section enables precise identification of the pin package by cross-referencing the MCU name listed in the user guide.Ordering Information section

Based on the provided image, the microcontroller is identified as having a 48-pin count. Refer to the "Pinout and Packaging" section and locate the 48-pin Very Thin Quad Flat No-leads (VQFN) and 48-pin Thin Quad Flat Package (TQFP) packages. Scroll down to Table 4-2 48-pin VQFN/48-pin TQFP I/O PINMUX, to determine the specific pins required for use in the demo.

VQFN:  A compact surface-mount package with no external leads, featuring pads underneath and a central exposed thermal pad for efficient heat dissipation.

TQFP: A surface-mount package with gull-wing leads extending from all four sides, enabling easy soldering, inspection, and debugging.
