To locate dsPIC33A design documentation, the first step is to locate a suitable device, and jump to the product home page. Click the following link to enter our Parametric search tool.
Using the available pull-downs in the upper-left corner, list all dsPIC33A devices by selecting "Microprocessors & Microcontrollers", "Digital Signal Controllers", and "dsPIC33A DSC" as shown. The product data sheet is the primary design document, containing detailed descriptions of all sub-systems, as well as basic peripheral configuration code examples.

The dsPIC33A Programmer’s Reference Manual is key to understanding the low-level programming interface and assembly language instructions for dsPIC33A
The dsPIC33CK to dsPIC33AK Migration and Performance Enhancement Guide highlights the new architectural features of the device and is particularly useful if you are looking to migrating existing firmware from an older dsPIC33 device.
Finally, we have the XC-DSC C-compiler User’s Guide, which is available online, and in the documentation folder of your XC-DSC installation. This is probably the most important document for C-programmers to get the most out of their C-programs written for the dsPIC33A.
