MPLAB® Harmony Framework Vision Package

The MPLAB Harmony Vision package is designed to enable camera-based applications to operate seamlessly with the MPLAB® Harmony framework, providing support for Microchip MPUs and MCUs. The Vision module offers a C Application Programming Interface (API) for application development, facilitating configuration of cameras, image sensor controllers, and low-level hardware interfaces such as Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI^®) Camera Serial Interface (CSI) or Parallel Capture Controller (PCC). Applications can request image frames, which are stored in Double Data Rate (DDR) memory. These image buffers can be directly displayed for preview via Low-Voltage Differential Signaling (LVDS) or RGB parallel display interfaces.
