General Tab in MPLAB® X IDE

General Tab Options

From the General tab, you can select the Web Browser, Proxy Settings, and if you want MPLAB® X Integrated Development Environment (IDE) to send usage data to NetBeans®.

To access the Options window, select from the main menu:

  • Tools > Options (Windows® and Linux®)

  • mplab_ide > Preferences (macOS®)

The default settings are:

  • Default System Browser
  • Use System Proxy Settings
  • Do Not Send Usage Data
