To disconnect the programming tool from the MPLAB® Integrated Programming Environment (IPE) follow these steps.
When the tool is connected to the IPE, all Command buttons including Program, Erase, Read, Verify and Blank Check are available for you to use. To disconnect the tool, click the Disconnect button next to the Tool drop-down menu.
After MPLAB IPE has disconnected the tool, the Command buttons are no longer available and are grayed out.
If you need to work with Microchip Support staff directly, you can submit a technical support case. Keep in mind that many questions can be answered through our self-help resources, so this may not be your speediest option.
