HW Setup

Refer to the included images for instructions on connecting the display to the SAMA7D65 Curiosity board.

The display comes with an LVDS cable that is used to connect the display to the board, as shown in Figure 1. The display is powered from the Curiosity board.

The SD card with the firmware binaries goes to the microSD card slot labeled "SD CARD".

The display cable is connected to the J17 'LVDS' connector on the SAMA7D65 Curiosity board. A close-up of how the cable is oriented is shown in the accompanying image.

The display can be mounted to the board using the 8-pin headers.

When mounted, the hardware setup should appear as shown in the accompanying image. Refer to the Microchip Graphics Suite (MGS) Harmony Quickstart project and binaries for the example application and pre-built binaries that can be booted directly from the SD card.
