MPLAB Code Configurator

Shortening development cycles make it ever more challenging to design a new MCU into a product. Engineers face many choices when incorporating PIC® MCUs into their projects for the first time.

The Microchip MCU and MPU Development Tools page lists at least twenty different hardware and software components under the MPLAB® development ecosystem. It’s unclear which tools or software development frameworks are available to speed up development with Microchip 8- and 16-bit MCUs.

Engineers are familiar with the ease of development and hardware abstraction available with the Arduino® framework and expect the same ease of development using vendor-specific software development frameworks.

Even if the engineer has heard of MPLAB Code Configurator (MCC) Melody, searching for "PIC18 MCC melody example project" on Google yields many random results. Is there a better way to search for example projects?

This class will help you overcome these obstacles and kick-start your development of Microchip 8- and 16-bit MCU projects using the MCC Melody Framework and the Microchip development tools ecosystem.
