Introduction

This user guide provides information on how to develop a cross-platform GUI application that can be easily ported between bare metal, RTOS or Linux®-based platforms.

The GUI runs on the same graphics library (Legato) and the screens are designed using the same Microchip Graphics Suite (MGS) Composer.

The application can then be optimized to utilize the unique features of the target platform.

Running on Bare Metal or RTOS (MPLAB® Harmony)

To develop an MGS application for MPLAB Harmony, refer to the "Microchip Graphics Suite (MGS) Harmony User Guide".

Running on Linux

To develop or port an MGS application for Linux, refer to the "Microchip Graphics Suite (MGS) Cross-Platform for Linux®".
