HW Setup
Refer to the accompanying images for instructions on how to connect the display to the SAMA7D65 Curiosity board.
A 15-pin DSI cable is included with the Waveshare display. Since the SAMA7D65 Curiosity board uses a 34-pin MIPI® display connector, an adapter board is needed to convert the 15-pin interface from the display to 34-pin.
Here's a close-up of the connections with the adapter board.
Two dedicated USB-C ports power the display and the SAMA7D65 Curiosity board separately.
The SD card with the firmware binaries goes to the SD card slot labeled SD CARD.
