Tools Menu
The Tools Menu can be found at the top of MPLAB® Integrated Programming Environment (IPE). The Tools Menu includes:
- Device Actions
- Manage Network Tools
- Plugins
- Hardware Tool Emergency Boot
- Plugins Download
Manage Network Tools
Use this utility to configure tools for network usage and set up the default connection type for each tool.
Plugins
This option brings up a window that shows which plugins are available, installed, and if there are any updates pending.
Hardware Tool Emergency Boot
Only use this utility to restore hardware tool boot firmware to its factory state.
Use only if your hardware tool no longer functions on any machine.
Plugins Download
To download the plugin module to your computer for later installation, click Visit Embedded Code Source button that is presented after selecting the Plugins Download option.
